HIM FIRST

Privacy Policy

Effective August 30, 2026

Him First is built so that your devotional life stays yours. This policy is short because there is very little to disclose.

What we collect

Anonymous usage counts only. Him First has no accounts and no servers of its own. To learn which parts of the app help and which get in the way, the app sends a small number of anonymous events (for example "reading finished" or "share card created") to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service hosted in the EU. Each install gets a random identifier that is hashed before it leaves your phone; it is not linked to you, not shared with anyone, and resets when you delete the app. We never send what you read, which apps you shield, your schedule, or any identifier such as an advertising ID. There is no tracking across apps or sites, and no ads.

What stays on your device

All of it lives on your iPhone, protected by iOS. Deleting the app deletes it.

Screen Time

Him First uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) technology in individual mode to shield the apps you choose. Apple designs this system so that apps like ours never see which apps you picked or how you use them — the selections are opaque to us. You can revoke this permission anytime in iOS Settings.

Bible text

All translations included (World English Bible, King James Version, Berean Standard Bible, American Standard Version, Reina-Valera 1909) are in the public domain and bundled inside the app; reading requires no network connection.

Children

Him First does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version ever changes any of the above (for example, optional anonymous statistics), this page and the App Store privacy label will be updated first, and the app itself will say so plainly.
